To kick off the Easter weekend in style Ouch! will be running the party to the later time of 6am with one of the industries most respected producers and djs, namely Joakim.
Joakim has long been known for his leftfield take on dance music and has found a home on the highly regarded French label, Tigersushi also the home of Ivan Smaggheís Kill the DJ compís. Over the years Joakim has been influenced by such artists as Coltrane, Sun Ra, Pixies, As One, Carl Craig and Plastikman who all manage to play a part in his music. Joakim is also stealthily advanced in the compositions of his third LP, ëFantÙmesí for the French label Versatile which is due out at the end of March.
Joining Joakim will be Chicken Lips and the Idjut Boys who both fly the funked up, dubbed out, acid disco, flag for the UK and are not to be missed in this environment. Plus Joel aka Zeus from Consume music will warm up the proceedings with some rare shit!
