2004

Well it’s been a great year people, thanks to all you record buyers worldwide that have given us the platform to release lots of different styles of music and have made it our best year ever at bear hq.

Next year we won’t give up the struggle, it’s full steam ahead with lots of new 12’s and some CD projects that we have had brewing for some time.

They say imitation is the best form of flattery ! it is but it’s laughable that some labels just seem to be copying our style, they use the same artists, the same remixers and even do edits wow so original !! (not) get your own style… all this copying is wrong !! You know what I mean.

Remember kids - there’s only one bear and he loves you !

“Let’s get this party started, right!”
Early start / Late Finish 8pm - 6am

We are really excited about the party. we have some of our favourite DJs and producers joining us.

First up, Dan Ghenacia will be Eurostaring it over from Paris to join Giles and James on the (covered and heated) terrace. Dan’s electro tinged House sets are excellent and he’s already rocked our socks sveral times this year.

In the basement, a space that hasn’t been used before, we’ve got a rather special Disco room lined up, with one of the legends of the Disco world, especially of the Italian variety, Alexander Robotnick gracing our prescence. In 1983 he wrote, performed and produced a song called “Problèmes d’amour”. This became somewhat of a cult track, to say the least. Alexander is quite simply, seen as the Godfather of Italo-Disco and he will be performing a 2 hour semi-live set on the night. also in the basement, the marvellous Chicken Lips, in our opinion, one of the best production and DJing teams in the country, will be playing a disco set, as well as one other special, hopefully international, guest to be announced.

In the lounge, the respite area for the night, the Idjut Boys will be playing a set in excess of 6 hours long! alongside our very good friend, Earl Gateshead. Expect some fine Rare Groove, Soul, Boogie, Jazz and Disco in here.

You might be wondering where the party is. In our true ‘secret’ style, this party is at a ‘secret’ location. Most of you will be familiar with the venue if you enjoyed the second half of the summer with us. We will also be pulling out all the stops production wise, transforming the venue to hopefully make this a special New Year for everyone.

For invites to the party, please go to www.secretsundaze.org. We suggest you go there as soon as you can.

So there you have it. If you need any more info, let us know..secretsundaze xxx
