This Saturday sees the 2nd instalment of Go!Zilla, the new monthly party at Boudoir from Terry Hart (Drama) and James Priestley (secretsundaze).
Over 2 rooms:
Rub ‘N’ Tug (Campfire NYC / Eskimo Records)
Having turned out some of James’ favourite remixes over the last 12 months for the likes of ! ! ! (Chk Chk Chk), Outhud and on Headman’s Relish label, New York’s hottest thing right now, join us for an exclusive London performance, showcasing their love of Disco, Rock and booze! Their recent compilation on Eskimo says it all! See this week’s Time Out coverage on these 2 for more info..
Justin Robertson (Bugged Out!)
Justin is a man who needs little introduction. We’re honoured he’s joining us at Go!Zilla, especially as it is his birthday this Saturday! He’ll be dropping a Electro-Techno-House-Rave workout in the main room, as he does best.
Chicken Lip (Kingsize)
These guys are simply one of the best leftfield dance producers in the U.K. Their dubby and often acid-tinged disco reworks are synonymous with quality. Andy Meecham is responsible for the mighty Emperor Machine outfit as well as Stevie being the owner and founder of the excellent Bear Funk label, one of first to pioneer the likes of Lindstrom. Chicken Lips will be setting the vibe in the 2nd room before Rub ‘N’ Tug - get down early if you wanna catch Stevie
Mazzy Supastar (Drama)
Resident at Terry’s Drama and Cuckoo Couture nights, Mazzy (Hongyi to his friends) has been carving quite a reputation on the capital’s finer dancefloors of late. He’ll be warming things up for Justin in the main room.
James Priestley (secretsundaze / Go!Zilla resident)
Resident James Priestley will be taking over from the birthday boy for the last 2 hours of the night.
THE GLIMMER TWINS (Eskimo Records)
Having bumped into Belgium’s formidable duo The Glimmer Twins on Thursday night, they have requested to come and play at Go!Zilla this Saturday. Desperate to check their pals Rub ‘N’ Tug out in action, they’re making it back from the Isle Of Wight festival to join us back in London. They rock! Expect them making an appearance on the decks towards the end of the night somewhere..
We hope you can make it. The launch in May was, it seems from everyone’s feedback, very well received. The venue is stunning and the crowd did their best to match it - a pretty tough job too! Come and join the crash course as Terry and James’ crowds ‘collide and collude’.

Well it took time to prepare our next instalment of the Bearfunk madness but it was worth the wait.
Copyshop are Fred Berthet and Arnaud Pilard and they’re reproduction LP released on French label Black Jack last year is a excellent example of electronic music retaining the most important thing it’s SOUL.
But before for the arrival of this wonderful LP they released “Mystery Guest” on a limited ep last year. Stevie Kotey was a big fan of the original and wore his copy out. He then asked the label for more and they said “whilst your on the phone maybe you could do another mix”. “SK” agreed this would be a good idea so here it is - Darkfaders almighty slab of darkness, made whilst smoking so much greens the boss delay machine overloaded!!
Fabrizio is no stranger to the Bear Family infact he released “Panorama” for Hairy Claw 2004 and it was a hit. Fabrizio was born in 1982 in Italy and has always had a love and passion for music. Growing up he was exposed to many different musical genres and got involved in record collecting at a very early age.
Eventually the desire to express his own ideas in music was the next logical step for him. Well with Marco Ricci providing a stunning deep punk bassline for “Tear up” he has certainly taken a big step. We had just mastered the track and Stevie decided to make a few cd’s for the Idjuts, Prins Thomas and a few other label mates. Then the CD gets played, then copied a few times, then hey presto Ivan Smagghe of Blackstrobe fame gets wind of “Tear up” he loves it so much he has even used it on his forth coming CD mix for the world famous FABRIC series (no 23 to be exact) so all that and we haven’t even released it yet, well till now!
